Big news everyone! We’ve launched a Honeycomb Campaign! If you’re familiar with Honeycomb, then you know what an incredible platform it is for helping small businesses to grow. And if you aren’t familiar, then check out our campaign page and get all your questions answered there! Right now we’re seeking investors to help us grow our business. With the pandemic raging on, we’re doing our best to keep our doors open for the sake of the kitties and for all of you folks! Your investment could make a huge impact on the future of our business. And even if you can’t afford to invest right now, just sharing our campaign is a big help as well! Thank you so much, from us and the kitties.

We are currently OPEN for business! Here are the details:
Safety Precautions:
To come see the kitties, you WILL need an appointment. We will not be accepting any walk-ins at this time. Also, only one group/appointment will be allowed in the room at a time. You must be on time for your appointment--if you're running very late or need to cancel, please call us so we can make adjustments. We're trying to keep interactions between groups to a minimum in an effort to keep everyone safe!
You MUST wear a mask to come into the shop and go into the cat room.
We also ask that you wash your hands before entering the cat room AND after leaving.
These precautions are for the safety of our staff, but also for your own safety! We want to keep things as safe as possible so that you all can see the kitties again, but no one will get sick. And rest assured, we will be thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day as well. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to reach out!
Also, if you still feel safer staying home, but miss the kitties, we've started a Twitch livestream of the cat room so you can watch them from afar and get some cat therapy from a distance!
On another note, as you might know, the money we get in from daily sales is how we keep the lights on and keep the kitties fed and comfortable. And no doubt, even as we re-open, with having to limit the amount of people who can come in, it's going to hurt us financially. We hate to ask, but we could truly use your help right now. We have shirts and other merch available for purchase here on our website. We also have gift cards available that you could use when we re-open. And if you’re able and willing to donate we do have our Patreon and a PayPal as well. And if you'd like to send the kitties some extra love, we also have an Amazon wishlist to send treats and toys! These are difficult times and though it’s hard to ask for help, sometimes we have to. Thank you all for your love and support. We couldn't be pushing through this without you.
Current Cats:Exciting news!! We were just voted First Place for “Best Women-Owned Business” and Third Place for “Best Local Pet Store” in the 2020 City Paper Best Of PGH reader's poll! Thank you so so much to everyone who voted for us and has supported us and our mission over the years! It means the world to us.

And more big news!We have moved to Garfield! Some of you may have heard already, but we have left Butler St. and moved up to Penn Ave. into Workshop's old storefront! Leaving Butler St. was very hard for us, the community down there and our neighbors were just so incredible and made us feel so at home when we first moved in.
After a couple years in that space though, we’re ready to expand and finally offer our dream of a larger cat room and a full coffee bar! It’s not going to be an overnight process, but with your continued support we can make this beautiful space our home! We’re so eager to be a part of the incredible community up on Penn Ave. and can’t wait to make this space our own. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and been patient as we worked towards this dream. |
